Asecos are the European leading manufacturer of internal storage cabinets for flammables according to BS EN 14470-1.In a furnace test the internal cabinet temperature must not rise by more than 180 degrees centigrade in 30,60 or 90 minutes a major advance in safety. The HSE say that these cabinets can normally be used for internal storege of highly flammable solvents in greater tha 50 litres, unlike standard metal cabinets. This is a cheaper option than building a fire rated external store.
