ORLIN Technologies supplies precision motion control and micro-positioning systems, including moving coil (voice coil) actuators from SMAC and piezo actuators from CEDRAT Technologies.
The SMAC range includes high speed motorised actuators and stages with travel upto 150mm and closed loop postion feedback to 100nm resolution. Also the LXYM15, a high speed, open frame microscope XY stage.
The CEDRAT range includes Amplified Piezo Actuators (APA) with travel up to 500 microns and Parallel Pre-loaded Actuators (PPA) with very high forces and nanometre resoltion. Mechanisms based on piezo technology include the OPP120SM, a microscope objective focussing Z actuator with 120 microns of movement.
ORLIN is also the UK distributor for Op Mount Instrument Inc for their range of manual and motorised translation stages and opto-mechanical components, including lens mounts.
