High quality micrographs
Imaging Associates is now distributing two new models of the popular Carl Zeiss AxioCam line of digital cameras for microscopy. These are entry-level digital cameras for otomicrography: the 1.4 megapixel AxioCam ICc1 and the 3.3 megapixel AxioCam ICc3. These cameras offer an excellent price/performance ratio and have been developed for users who work in routine microscopy for image documentation. The AxioCam ICc cameras with C-mount adapter are ideal for general micrographs of colour objects when sufficient light is available, e.g. for all brightfield micrographs in materials microscopy. Due to their performance, these cameras provide an economical solution for routine industrial applications.

New software for Zeiss
Imaging Associates has introduced the latest version (4.10) of the Carl Zeiss KS ELISPOT and KS ELISPOT Compact, making Elispot microscopic examinations for the testing of immune therapies and the development of vaccines even faster and more convenient. KS ELSPOT is targeted at immunologists, oncologists and pharmacologists working in tumour, AIDS and vaccine research. In combination with the Stemi 2000 C stereo microscopes, the KS ELISPOT compact enables evaluation of a 96-well plate in less than four minutes. Depending on the magnification used, the research system with Axio Imager as the microscope base reaches pixel sizes between 2.0 and 4.0µm, guaranteeing the recognition of even minute spots. Together with the Axio Imager microscope, the AxioCam camera and suitable filters, KS ELISPOT also enables fluorescence Elispot evaluation.
