In addition to their own range of plastic cuvettes, Elkay now offer Brand UV-cuvettes for use in the UV-VIS range (220-900nm) of spectrophotometric analysis. Brand cuvettes are made of high quality, UV-transparent plastic offering a cost effective and convenient replacement for fragile glass or quartz cuvettes. Designed for single use, they eliminate the time required and risk of cross-contamination associated with washing and re-using cuvettes. The micro cuvette has been specifically designed for photometric determination of proteins, ssDNA, dsDNA, RNA and oligonucleotides in the UV range, and is
offered with two centre heights allowing use in most common spectrophotometers without
adapter. Semi-micro and macro versions are particularly suited for determinations in water analysis, chemistry and other life science applications.

Elkay are proud to announce the return of their LeakBuster specimen containers. These containers offer worry-free storage and transport of samples within the laboratory, hospital or field. Made from medical-grade, unbreakable, clarified polypropylene material, LeakBuster containers may be used safely with
hazardous chemicals such as Formaldehyde, are freezeable down to -70ºC and are ideal for use in harsh transport conditions. The streamlined straight-sided containers are stable, stackable, and save space in storage. Graduation markings are on two or three sides. All sterile containers are gamma irradiated without discoloration and have a unique securitab label to ensure the sterile integrity of the container before use.

Complementing the well-known brand of plastic Pasteur pipette, Liquipette, Elkay now introduce the new P423. With its extended fine point, the P423 Liquipette is suitable for use in a myriad of sample transfers requiring small, accurate drop sizes, in particular CSF and HPLC cells to help prevent bubble formation. For over 30 years Liquipette has maintained a reputation for reliability and performance. Due to the careful designing of moulds, the stringent manufacturing conditions and the high quality of raw materials used. All Liquipette are manufactured from virgin LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) and are ensured phthalate and silicone free, as no plasticisers are used in the moulding process. To add to their family of high-quality precision plastics for liquid handling, Elkay are proud to introduce their new range of plastic culture/serological pipettes. Manufactured from the highest grade crystal polystyrene, in a seamless single-piece construction, Elkay culture pipettes help eliminate the risk of leakage and sample hang-up, therefore improving accuracy. With
volume ranges from 1ml to 25ml, all pipettes have ascending and descending graduation marks from 5ml offering extra capacity in each pipette. All graduations have dark permanent lines which will help ensure the highest accuracy. Patented colourcoded plugs correspond to the international colour codes for easy identification, and all pipettes are gamma irradiated and guaranteed
non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic and non-haemolytic.

Designed to complement their range of ritips Professional dispenser syringes, Elkay have introduced the ripette genX electronic repeat dispenser. The genX covers a volume range from 1µl to 50ml and dispenses using a contamination free positive displacement principle. Intuitive programming allows for quick and easy adjustments and by simply entering the dosage volume and number of aliquots, the integrated Tip Guide will recommend the most suitable syringe for the job, eliminating the need for tables or calculations which can often be time consuming and may lead to incorrect tip selections. The genX offers two operating modes, dispensing with tip selection and manual dispensing. This makes it an ideal tool for most high-precision dosage applications.
