One tip fits three sizes
 Dutscher Scientific has announced the availability of the MultiGuard3 tip from Sorenson Bioscience. Sorenson manufacture
quality plastics and this tip is exclusive to Dutscher Scientific in the UK. This revolutionary MultiGuard3 Barrier Tip fits on a
20µl, 100µl and 200µl pipette and so means you don’t need to stock three sizes of tip. It is available with low binding surface technology so the whole sample is expelled from the tip and it has a soft-fit top for easy ejection. It has graduations at 20, 50, 100 and 200µl and is 77.8mm long, making it an extended length
tip.

Health and safety officer
 If you are in charge of the safety of your laboratory colleagues you know you are required to provide a suitable glove for them that ensures their safety. If you look closely at your glove supplier – you may find that you are using an exam glove that is designed to protect a patient. According to PPE Directive 89/654/EEC the employer should evaluate all the potential risks for its employees and put in place the appropriate procedures for limiting or eliminating these risks. If your users are working on bacteria/fungi/viruses etc and you therefore need a PPE glove, please contact us for help.
