Fastrak from Alpha Laboratories is probably the most ecofriendly tip rack refill system in the world - its environmental packaging impact is up to 200 times less than other systems. This is because packaging is made from 95% renewable materials. The carton is made from 100% recycled paper, vegetable-based printing inks are used and the base is made corn derivatives. Its weight has been kept low to reduce fuel consumption in transportation. Fastrak uses a patent pending transfer top system that allows quick and easy refilling of the pipette tip racks.
